PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The RNC. Arts, JDB. Commerce & NSC Science College, Late Balram Hemraj Lahoti Library was Established in the year 1963 to support the academic and extra-curricular objectives of the college.
- THE OBJECTIVES OF THE LIBRARY ARE :
- To participate effectively in the college programme as it strives to meet the reading and information needs to students, teachers and ex.readers.
- Provide services and reading material to the student so as to enable them to use the library for referring to textbooks reference books and pursue independent study.
- Provide services and reading material to the student faculty of the college so as to enable them to use library for preparing lecturer, counting education and research.
- Provide orientation, user education and references services to the teachers and students in order to maximize the use of the library.
- To support the extracurricular activities conducted by the college.
R.N.C. Arts, J.D.B. Commerce and N.S.C. Science College, Nasik Road was established in 1963 with a view to provide education to the student community in Nasik Road and its vicinity.
To support this matter of the college, Library was started during the same year with a small collection of books and started to support various programmers of the college. Now the Library has collection of 104515 books on various subjects and there for plays an important role in this direction. The library is centrally located in the campus which located the area of 7000 sq.fit construction. The library is well ventilated with adequate facilities.
The college regularly subscribes about 117 Journals, Magazine and Periodicals. There is Ten Computers and purchased Library software which is used for all Library working.
The Library is attached with a Reading Hall with the seating capacity of around 100 students. The Library also provides a separate reference section along with independent seating arrangement. The library also provides separate Internet facility it help the students, teachers.
The library is open from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm on all working days including vacations.

- Making library resources use friendly with quality sources and services.
- Preserve old collection in library and accessible to user.
- Updating library with new arrivals to cater the need of curriculum teaching and learning and research.
- Library fully automated.
- Recognize and meet the changing expectation of stake holders.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION OF LIBRARY
It includes the classification and cataloging of the books in the Library. Books are classified according to D.D.C. System of 19th editions. For cataloging CCC method is applied with same local variations. Catalogue cards are made according to author and title.

LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS.
- Only one Book can Borrowed at a time by any student.
- Books should be returned According to the (Time Table) given schedule day.
- A fine of Rs.50/- ps per Day will by charged or no book will be issued thereafter if books are not returned before due date.
- If Identity card is lost Rs.100/- will be charged for a New One.
- Every one must/should present an Identity Card while you borrow books.
- Make sure that the book is in good condition & no pages are torn before you borrow the book, no complaint will be entertained afterwards.
- Books from the reading room are issued only to be read in the reading room.
- Everyone should enter His/her name in the register before you enter the Library.
- Smooth functioning of the Library solely depends on Your co-operation.
