National Service Scheme
To mark the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, National Service Scheme was introduced on 24th September 1969. The main objectives of the National Service Scheme – to build a self dependent youth, to foster value education and to develop the social fidelity.
The students registered for NSS are termed as volunteers. The sanctioned capacity of the college is two hundred volunteers. Out of which, hundred volunteers participate in the special camp in a remote village. These volunteers participate in NSS for two academic years. To acclimatize the new incumbents the College, NSS unit conducts its inauguration programme each year in the month of July.

International Yoga Day was organized by NSS Unit on 21st June 2023 at 10.30 am in Zymkhana Hall with guidance of Yoga Teacher Dr. Nivedita Khot, Director of Nisarg Upachar Kendra, Nashik,

Tree Plantation programme was held in College on 5th June 2023 with Guidance of Principal Dr. Manjusha Kulkarni.

Special Guidance Programme Organized by National Service Scheme Unit with the District Sports Officer Office, Nasik, Youth Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra and Sahityaratna Annabhau Sathe Multipurpose Service Committee, Nasik on the topic “Career Paths” by Mr. Anant Nikam was successfully organized on Saturday, August 2, 2023.

On Saturday, August 12, 2023, a joint online Health Awareness Programme was organized by the NSS Unit and Bytco Hospital, Nashik.

“Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign and included “Panchpran Oath” and “Mahayuvak Samvad HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign” organized On Saturday, August 12, 2023

The Campus cleaning Campaign was organized by the NSS Unit on 14th August 2024. In order to keep the campus clean, 100 volunteers were actively involved in the activity.

20 NSS volunteers were actively participated in Swantrya Jyot Rally organized by the NSS, Nashik and Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Nashik on the evening of 14th August 2024.

On the occasion of 77th Independence Day, 130 Nss volunteers were Present at Independance Day Flag Hosting Ceremony on 15th August, 2023.

The special lecture on “Today’s Youth and Entrepreneurship” of Mr. Amol Gaikwad, a well-known entrepreneur and motivational speaker and Vijay Sonawane, was successfully organized on Wednesday, August 21, 2023.

NSS volunteers Participated in Selfie with Mati campaign (550 Selfies) during 3rd October to 8th October, 2023.

The blood donation camp was organized by the NSS Unit of the college in collaboration with Bytco Hospital, Nashik, on 5th October 2023. In this Camp 43 units of Blood was collected.

The Campus cleaning Campaign was organized by the NSS on 25th January 2024 in rememberance of Late. Sir. Dr. M.S.Gosavi.

10 NSS volunteers participated in the Ganesh Murti Sankalan campaign organized by Nashik Municipal Corporation on Anant Chaturdashi on 28th September, 2023.

Special Camp was organized by NSS Unit in the adopted village Hinganvedhe, tal. & Dist. Nashik from 8th to 14th february 2024 with 100 NSS volunteers under the theme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and conducted under a theme of ‘युवकांचा ध्यास : ग्राम–शहर विकास’.

Contribution of the volunteers to the remote village during special camp: 2018-19
- In the camp, various activities were conducted such as survey in the village, tree plantation, clean India Drive (entire village was cleaned).
- Rallies were arranged to address the issues like women empowerment, importance of cleanliness, Right to Education and disaster management
- Pledge was given to all volunteers for not consuming any drug and tobacco as well as to stop “stribrhun hatya”

Special lectures were conducted on each day of the camp on topic Population Control, Importance of NSS, superstation in India, Natural Farming, Swami Vivekanand, Vision of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, global warming etc.
